3/1/08 - First Dinner of 2008 and where better to kick off the new year of parties then at Mike and Maureen's. Theme is Bon Appetite in honor of the fantastic cookbook Maureen got for Christmas. I think Lamb Chops are on the menu tonight. Should be a great Party!!

9/29/06 - Dinner at Mike and Maureen's was absolutely fantastic. Texas was a big theme and it was a Big Dinner. There is a little slide show of the evening posted under our Past Dinners page. Next up, Jim and Judy. Theme and date to be announced

4/20/06 - Next Dinner Party Coming up on 4/22 at Bob and Sally's. Theme is Mediterranian and quite a feist is planned. Unfortunately Jim and Judy are in the Keys tending to some personal business so its going to be The M.Werts, the Rinkers, the Brownes and our first time guests Kris and Mellisa. It's party time!!!

3/1/06 - Our Comfort Dinner at Jim and Judy's place was absolutely terrific. Great food and great party!! Plus we were very comfortable in our pajamas!!

12/17/05 - The Gourmet Dinner Club goes Out To Dinner!! Thats right, we made our third group outing. We did Mexican and went to La Esperanza restaurant in Lindenwold, NJ. Exceptional family run place that serves up the best and very authentic Mexican Cuisine. Everything from Tacos to Roasted Goat. The Mexican beers are cold and plentiful. It was a fun and filling night. Nice way to end our year of Club Dinners.

11/01/05 - Our Dinner Party is at Mike and Maureen's house - November 12th!!! Was just perfect. Brazilian was the themeand all the food was delicious. Great food, great guests, great PARTY!!

10/29/05 - Mike and Maureen Wert and Bob and Sally Browne visit Atlantic City and the Annual Gourmet Food Show! Nice way to spend the day sampling gourmet foods, sauces, goodies, beers, wines, vodkas, and lots of other things. Good thing we took the train.....

9/20/05 - Next Dinner Coming up!! Our next gathering is at Annette and Rink's place, October 1st. Theme is Chinese. See you all there!

6/20/05 - Our Dinner Party at Bob and Sally's has come and gone. A great party that ended up on the back porch till the early morning hours!

6/15/05 - Our Next Dinner Party is at Bob and Sally's's house - June 25th!!! Mexican will be the theme. See you there!!

5/1/05 - WOW! What a party we had. The Dinner at Jim and Judy's place last night was simply delicious. All of the food was fantastic. What an Italian feast it was!! Read about it soon and check out some pictures in our "Past Dinners" section. THANKS Jim and Judy!!

4/1/05 - Our next big Dinner Party will be on April 30th, 2005. The theme will be Italian and it will be held at Jim and Judy's place. Guarunteed to be a delicious party!

3/20/05 - The Gourmet Dinner Club Takes a Trip To Atlantic City!! We took the train from Atco to Atlantic City and had a terrific lunch at the Tun Tavern. We actually went for the "Gourmet Beer" since The Tun Tavern is a great little micro brewery making about 8 different types of beer that are all available on tap. The Tun Light went over great with fans of light beer and the Amber Brew was also a favorite. They also had a dark beer that was out of this world. After lunch we walked to The Quaters at the Tropicana. Wow what a place. There we had Mohitos at Cuba Libre, Irish Beer at the Irish Pub, and Oysters and Beers at the Raw Bar before we caught the train home. What a great Sunday afternoon!!

1/30/05 - Our Dinner Party at Maureen and Mike's house is now a memory!!! The dinner was fantastic and our guests were terrific. The unfortunate thing about this dinner was as we sat down to our salad and entre Rink got a phone call telling him that his dad, who had been ill for quite some time, passed away. Our hearts went out to Rink and Annette as they had to leave. Needless to say our party didn't have the same "Rip/Rore" feeling to it afer that.

1/10/05 - Our Next Dinner Party is at Maureen and Mike's house - January 29th!!! Asian/Indonesian/Thai is the theme. See you there!!

11/24/04 - Dinner Party at Annette and Rink's place was just fantastic. Creole food and Zydaco music. A very fun night indeed!!! Thanks to the Rinker's for their terrific hospitality and Thanks to our members for delicious creations. Also a BIG Thank you to our guests, Richard and Gayle, for a delicious Creole dessert, and also their great company.

11/13/04 - Our Next Dinner Party is at Annette and Rink's place on November 20th. The theme this time is Creole. Bound to be a spicey hot time. See you all there!!!

11/1/04 - Our Australian Dinner Party at Sally and Bob's house was great mate. Another fantastic dinner with great eats and lots of late night partying. Thanks to everyone for a fantastic gathering.

10/1/04 - Our Next Dinner Party is at Sally and Bob's house on October 16th. The them this time is Australian. See you all there!!!

9/1/04 - Our Dinner at Jim and Judy's is now just a memory. Never knew Portuguese food was so good. A BIG Thank You goes out to Judy and Jim for throwing a terrific party. Check back soon for some pictures and a write on the event.

8/13/04 - Next BIG Gourmet Dinner is at Jim and Judy's place on August 21st. Theme is Portuguese. This promises to big a Fantastic party. Stay tuned for pictures and a write up. See ya soon!!

6/28/04 - Our First Dinner Out! - The first Gourmet Dinner Club outing was a lot of fun and Great Gourmet Food!! We went out to a fantastic restaurant in Medford Lakes called LaFemmina on June 11th. The menu was absolutely superb!! We ate things like Mussles, Brachute, Salmon, Shrimp, Lobster and MORE!! All the dishes were authentically Italian and absolutely delicious. We knew we were in for a fun night when our waitress, Josephine, came out and said, "you guys have a lot of bottles of wine!!". The place was BYOB so yes, there were about 6 bottles on the table. In fact after dinner the owner, Franco, came out and had a glass of wine with us. The whole club was there and we even had Gus and Carol Maier (Mike and Jim's sister and brother-in-law) with us so it was quite a big table. After that Franco, who heard it was Carol's birthday and Annette's birthday had just past, came out with his accordian, and the whole staff, and did a rendition of Happy Birthday for us. After that we all went back to Jim and Judy's for Ice Cream and some more partying. It was a great night and we all vote to do it on a regular basis.

6/26/04 - I am pleased to say that after 10 days our Website is back online. We are set up on new servers and should not have any problems from here on out. Thanks for your patience!

3/29/04 - Our Mexican Dinner at Mike and Maureen's was absolutley delicious. It was a great party and the food was all fantastic. A True Mexican Fiesta. Fantastic Margaritta's and shots of expensive Tequila! My kind of party!! A big thank you goes out to Mike and Maureen and eveyone else for making the party a big success.

3/10/04 - Next Dinner will be at Mike and Maureen's house on March 27th. Theme is going to be "Sole Of Mexico" and the evening promises to be a Wild Event. Mexican means Great Food and TEQUILA! Can't wait for this one....

2/17/04 - BIG NEWS: Our own Annette and Bob (known as Backyard) played some of their music at The Coffee Works Cafe in Voorhees for the second time last night and got a very warm reception. In fact they were asked back to do a show of their our own on Monday night, March 15th from 7 to 9. Please come out and see their performance. 2/15/04 - Our Valentines Party at Jim and Judy's was Fantastic. Everyone had a great time!! The Russian food was delicious and everyone went to extremes to make our party a big success! Thanks Everyone!!

1/30/04 - Next Dinner Party will be at Jim and Judy's on February 14th. Our own little Valentines Dinner. Theme is going to be Russian and invitations have gone out. See you all there!
